We hand make all our Nicky River brand Ugg boots, slippers and sheepskin accessories and gifts at our rural workshop in the Huon Valley.
We use the best quality double faced A-grade Australian sheepskins for all our ugg boots and slippers. Every Ugg is individually hand made.
Our Nicky River Uggs are sold exclusively by us on our website, direct sales at our workshop in Nicholls Rivulet and at our stall at Salamanca Market in Hobart, Tasmania
Postage is a flat rate of $15 per order within Australia. We now post orders internationally.

Ugg Boot Makers
Hi, we are Christine and Brett, husband and wife team, and the creators of Nicky River Uggs. We hand make all our Nicky River brand Ugg boots, slippers and sheepskin products gifts at our rural workshop at Nicholls Rivulet in the Huon Valley.
We moved from Western Australia to Tasmania in 2013 for a tree-change and the cool climate. We found our corner of paradise on 28 acres in rural Huon Valley and built our house.
We had been retailing Australian made ugg boots and slippers at our Salamanca Uggs stall at Salamanca Market in Hobart for six years so we got to know a lot about ugg boots. We wanted a local Tasmanian product but couldn’t find anyone in Tasmania who made sheepskin boots and slippers and so we decided to do it ourselves. We wanted to make high quality, yet affordable, Ugg boots. Christine has loved sewing since she was a teenager so the transition from fabrics to sheepskin has been very smooth.
We set up our workshop on our rural property in the Huon Valley and in June 2019 we began making our first baby ugg boots. Our business has grown and we now make a full range of ugg boots and slippers plus sheepskin accessories and gifts. Our Uggs are comfy, warm and luxurious and, of course, Tasmanian.
Keeping us company are Molly our dog, growing flock of sheep, Forest our alpaca, chickens and one duck.
